Shenelle Gunatilake, NP-C
Co-Founder & Aesthetic Injector
Shenelle is a Nurse Practitioner with a deep passion for the art and science of aesthetic medicine. Since entering the industry over 5 years ago, she has built her expertise alongside plastic surgeons, as well as developed a sharp clinical eye, and earned a reputation for results that feel effortless and entirely personal. For Shenelle, aesthetics has never been about changing someone, rather it’s about helping them feel confident in who they already are.
Specializing in neuromodulators, dermal fillers, biostimulants, and advanced skin treatments including microneedling with exosomes, Shenelle approaches every treatment with precision and intention. She tailors each service to the individual, honoring their unique features rather than applying a one-size-fits-all formula. Her natural approach is rooted in restraint, knowing when to treat, and equally, when not to. Beyond her client work, Shenelle has provided hands-on training to emerging injectors, bringing the same standard of care to the next generation of providers. As co-founder of Nua Aesthetics, she built a practice that reflects everything she believes great aesthetics should be: subtle, intentional, and entirely yours.
Dionna Almazan, BSN, RN
Co-Founder & Aesthetic Injector
Dionna is a Registered Nurse whose roots in aesthetics run deep. Before earning her nursing degree, she spent years working in clinical support roles within aesthetic medicine — building a foundational understanding of the field, the treatments, and most importantly, the people seeking them. That early immersion, beginning in 2018, shaped the injector and provider she is today.
As a float pool nurse at Stanford, Dionna sharpened a broad and versatile clinical skillset across high-acuity environments — precision, adaptability, and a calm, steady hand that translates directly into her aesthetic work. When she transitioned into injecting, she brought with her years of clinical depth that most injectors simply haven't had the opportunity to build.
Specializing in neuromodulators, dermal fillers, biostimulants, and advanced skin treatments, Dionna's approach is guided by one core belief: her patients should leave looking like themselves — only more rested, more confident, more at ease. She takes the time to educate, meeting each person where they are and building a treatment plan rooted in their goals, not a template.

Dr. Daniel Urias, MD
Medical Director
Board-certified Plastic Surgeon Dr. Daniel Urias combines precision, safety, and artistry to create natural, balanced aesthetic results that honor each patient’s unique features.
Dr. Urias began his work in aesthetics in 2019, developing a strong focus on achieving harmonious outcomes that enhance — rather than alter — a patient’s natural identity. His clinical experience includes a wide range of procedures such as injectable treatments (neurotoxins, dermal fillers, PRF), fat grafting, and ultrasound-guided techniques designed to ensure safe, predictable results.
Having completed a fellowship in plastic surgery, Dr. Urias continues to pursue ongoing education in emerging aesthetic technologies and best practices. His philosophy centers on combining surgical precision with a deep respect for patient individuality and natural form.
As a Medical Director, Dr. Urias partners with med spas that share his commitment to ethical care, patient safety, and evidence-based practice. He takes pride in mentoring providers, developing clear clinical protocols, and fostering collaboration to ensure professional growth and consistently excellent patient outcomes.
